Ciarán O’Sullivan Physiotherapist

Ciarán O’Sullivan

Ciarán graduated from the University of Plymouth with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physiotherapy. He worked in the NHS across a wide range of physiotherapy disciplines including stroke and orthopaedics before returning to Ireland.

He is registered with CORU and the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapist.

Sara Cogley

Sara graduated from DCU with a bachelors degree in Athletic Therapy and Training and went on to complete the Masters of Physiotherapy in UCC.

Sara has worked in both the Public and Private sectors where she

discovered an interest in Women’s Health and has specialised in Pelvic Floor and Urinary Incontinence Physiotherapy. 

Sara is a proud Wexford woman and has been involved in Wexford sport for many years both in her capacity as an Athletic Therapist and a Physio. 

Sara is registered with CORU and a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.

Outside of work Sara loves travelling having lived in various parts of America, and Australia for stints. She enjoys a challenge and has a keen interest in sport and fitness.

Chris Smetana

Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Masters in Physiotherapy from Charles University in Prague. A native of Norway, he relocated to Ireland in 2012 and has worked in Private Practice since. He is registered with CORU and the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.

Chris enjoys running in his free time and helping athletes stay injury-free and reach their goals.

John Flynn

John, a native of Cork, graduated from Keele University (UK) with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. Following stints in Private Practice and the Royal Air Force in England, he then moved on to practice in Australia and Japan before relocating back to Ireland. On his return, he worked in Private Practices in Cork and completed a Master of Science in Sports Physiotherapy at University College Dublin.

John has been heavily involved in Cork sport, working with Cork Women’s Football Club in their inaugural year, Cork City FC U19 and Cork City FC Senior Teams. On the International scene, John works with the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) with underage teams. He was team physio for the Senior Mens Team for 3 years including the European Finals in 2016.

Shannon Pace

Shannon graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Malta, where she is originally from. She has worked in various settings including acute, chronic, inpatient and outpatient settings in both the public and private practice.
She relocated to Ireland where she graduated with a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of Cork.

Shannon is a strong believer in exercise as medicine with a special interest in mental health and chronic injuries

Sabareesh Kumar

Sabareesh is a fully insured member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists, CORU & MIAP, and his patients describe him as passionate, professional, and caring. He obtained his BSc. In Physiotherapy from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore, India. In addition to his extensive experience assessing and treating patients, Sabareesh regularly attends post-graduate courses to ensure he is up to date with the latest physiotherapy research. His commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice has seen him complete several postgraduate courses in complex musculoskeletal conditions, such as enhanced recovery following ankle injuries, plantar fascia injury in runners, Achilles tendon issues & hamstring ruptures.

Donna Tamayo

Donna is a dedicated physiotherapist with an Honours Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa in Canada. Her professional journey began as a kinesiologist, where she honed her understanding of movement before pursuing a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Limerick. Currently based in Limerick, She specializes in addressing various musculoskeletal conditions, including Womens Health, Ante/Post Natal pain, neck and low back pain, sports injuries, tendon injuries, approaching each case with a professional and friendly demeanor. She also integrates clinical pilates into her practice to enhance rehabilitation outcomes and promote overall wellness. 

While she enjoys outdoor activities and maintains an active lifestyle, she brings a balanced and composed attitude to her work. Whether helping patients recover or engaging in her own fitness pursuits, Donna combines professionalism with a personable touch, creating a positive and effective experience for those under her care.

James Naughton

James Naughton. James graduated from
University College Cork with an MSc in Physiotherapy. He also holds a BSc Hons
degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences from the University of Limerick. James
has experience working in orthopaedics, geriatrics, and with various sporting
teams. He is registered with CORU and a member of the Irish Society of
Chartered Physiotherapists.
James has also co-founded The Fit Physios. The Fit Physios offers in-person
strength/power testing and individually tailored online programmes for
athletes returning to play.
Outside of his professional career, James has a keen interest in sport and
fitness. He plays senior inter-county football with Limerick and his club St.
Senan’s.
